INSPIRED

The INSPIRED project (Innovative Solutions for Practicality and Impact in Refugee and Migration Oriented Education, ref. no. 2017-1-HR01-KA203-035359) was implemented as an Erasmus+ strategic partnership of six law faculties of the following universities: Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (Croatia), Mykolas Romeris University (Vilnius, Lithuania), Inholland University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands), University of Pecs (Hungary), London South Bank University (United Kingdom). The University of Ulster (Northern Ireland) acted as associated partner.

The project emerged as a need for project partners to implement a program that would enable specialization of students in refugee and migration law, which, given the recent events in Europe and beyond, is one of the most current issues in the European Union. The main emphasis of the sub-modules include fundamental rights, justice and security and refugee and migration law.

The main project activities included the development of a joint, multidisciplinary e-module for refugee and migration law oriented education which was tested in March 2018 in Lithuania and in March 2019 Croatia, as well as national multiplier events, seminars, joint research by students and teachers and transnational meetings.

The project was funded by the EU in the Erasmus+ Programme K2 Strategic Partnership in Higher Education Programme and was implemented between 1 October 2017 and 30 September 2019.
